 What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Nordette Ipills?

I had an unprotected sex with my boyfriend last december 26. Then i took 8 tablets of nordette coz Im afraid to be pregnant. Then now i found out the Nordette didnt take effect, i became pregnant. What would be the reason for this and what would the probable effect of taking nordette to my baby?

Hello, welcome to HCM. This tablet inhibits ovulation and thickens the uterus gateway(cervix)so that sperm doesn't enter. Before the action of the tablets the sperm is already there inside the womb to meet. This is the reason you have become pregnant. These tablets have effect on the fetus if taken for long duration. If you have taken just 8 tablets then the side effects on the baby can be confirm by scanning if you are wishing to continue. If not wishing then you can consult gynaecologist and take tablets for abortion.
